Set Realistic Goals

This may sound obvious, but setting realistic goals is essential if you want to be successful in achieving them. If your goal is too ambitious or unrealistic, you’ll quickly get frustrated and give up. It’s better to set small, achievable goals that will help you build momentum over time than lofty ones that leave you feeling overwhelmed and defeated. For example, instead of saying “I’m going to lose 50 pounds this year,” set smaller weekly or monthly goals like “I’m going to eat healthier snacks” or “I’m going to go for a 30-minute walk four times per week.”
